Louis Vuitton emotion detector

This is brilliant and decadent.

Louis Vuitton bags and wallets are now able to detect owners' emotions thanks to new LV jewelry accessories.

The bag incorporates a new HERM (heart and emotion rate monitor) in the form of a beautiful piece of jewelry which can be purchased with a bag or separately at Louis Vuitton stores. When attached to a bag the HERM automatically transmits your location and heartbeat via Bluetooth/WiFi to the owner's smartphone.

The cool bit is that the walls of the New York LV stores change color based on the heartbeat information registered by the people inside the store at that moment.

For instance, warmer colors indicate passion and excitement.

FOURSQUARE

Foursquare on your phone gives you & your friends new ways of exploring your city.
Earn points & unlock badges for discovering new things..

People use foursquare to "check-in", which is a way of telling us your whereabouts.
When you check-in somewhere, we'll tell your friends where they can find you and recommend places to go & things to do nearby.
People check-in at all kind of places - cafes, bars, restaurants, parks, homes, offices.

You'll find that as your friends use foursquare to check-in, you'll start learning more about the places they frequent.

Every foursquare check-in earns you points. Find a new place in your neighborhood? +5 points. Making multiple stops in a night? +2 points. Dragging friends along with you? +1. If you “check-in” somewhere often you can earn rewards at that place, e.g.
"Foursquare says you've been here 10x? That's a free drink for you!"

FOURSQUARE FOR BUSINESS

foursquare aims to encourage people to explore their neighborhoods and then reward people for doing so. We do this by combining our friend-finder and social city guide elements with game mechanics - our users earn points, win mayorships and unlock badges for trying new places and revisiting old favorites.
